The Cowboy Capital PRCA Rodeo promises Family Fun for all in the Texas Hill Country! Bandera, the Cowboy Capital of the World, and home to many World Champion Cowboys, presents it's Pro Rodeo each Memorial Day weekend at Mansfield Park in Bandera, Texas. This year, the 2002 Memorial Day Rodeo will be held May 24, 25 and 26th.

The Kerrville Folk Festival is held annually at the Quiet Valley Ranch, a beautiful drive north of Bandera towards Kerrvile on Texas Hwy 16. Starting on the Thursday before Memorial Day at the end of May, the music continues for 18 days with performances by more than 100 singer songwriters and their bands.
